If a member has one of the symbols below on their profile they have completed the required training and are NZHHA Certified.
Red Flame - Fully Qualified Solid Fuel Installation Technician
Wood Burner installers
These members can install your fireplace. The member has staff that are registered certified Solid Fuel Appliance Installation Technician (SFAIT). The SFAIT is able to sign installations off as completed, subject to council approval. They can also carry out inspections to satisfy council requests.
Grey Flame - They have completed the Introduction training, and are a Trainee.
Trainee Technician
The member has staff who have attended the NZHHA Introductory Course and are actively working in the industry.
Chimney - They have completed the Servicing course, and are qualified to Service and Sweep Appliances.
Chimney Sweeps
These members can clean and sweep your chimney/flue, they are able to advise on maintenance and repairs. The member has staff that are registered certified Solid Fuel Appliance Servicing Technicians (SFAST).
