Please note, if your company has membership, you can send employees on our training courses under the company membership. You cannot send contractors under your membership. Anyone providing contracted services must become a member in their own right before undertaking training.
NZHHA Introduction to Solid Fuel Heating Courses
The Introduction to Solid Fuel Heating Course is designed for all persons wanting to know more about the solid fuel heating industry.
Once you have completed the Introduction training and you are installing solid fuel appliances you must provide proof of Public Liability Insurance to the Association, and complete a log book given to each Installation Technician at the training.
Before registering for this course, please check you have provided proof of Public Liability Insurance to the Association and that you have completed the log book provided to you at the Introduction Course. If you are in manufacturing or sales, you can do the SFAIT course to add to your skill base, but you will not be a certified technician.
All course dates are subject to change. We will consider courses in other regions where we have 10 or more potential attendees.
